Accessibility Statement

How this website is kept usable for everyone and how to report a barrier.

Last updated
29 October 2026

buzztrix wants buzztrix.info to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.

Our commitment

We regard accessible pages as ordinary maintenance work at buzztrix rather than an additional feature. Every new page and every change to the design is checked to make sure the text remains readable, the navigation remains usable without a mouse and no information is carried by colour alone. The statement applies to buzztrix.info only.

Information in another form

If a page on buzztrix.info does not work for you, the same information is available without the website. Reach us by telephone on 01432 358 246, by email at hello@buzztrix.info or by post at 14 Widemarsh Court, Hereford HR4 9HG, and on request we will send the content of a page in another form.

Feedback

Please report any accessibility problem you encounter by email to hello@buzztrix.info or by telephone on 01432 358 246. A short description of the page, of the difficulty and of the device or assistive technology involved allows us to reproduce the fault. We normally answer within five working days and explain what we intend to do about it.

What we do

Pages use semantic HTML: headings follow one order, lists are marked up as lists, and link texts stay meaningful out of context. Navigation and main content form separate regions, and the language of each page is declared for screen readers. Images that carry information have alternative texts, decorative ones are marked as such.

Text, links and buttons are shown with a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off, and links, menus and form fields can be used with the keyboard alone.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.

Limitations we know of

A number of illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject instead of describing it in detail.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 29 October 2026 on the basis of our own review. We checked the main page types with a keyboard, with increased zoom and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any major change to the website.
