Six areas of live television work, from studio wiring and lighting to multi-camera coverage of stages and festivals.

What we do

Six services for studios, venues and live events

buzztrix is a production hub in Hereford that helps broadcasters, event organisers and venues run reliable live television. The work covers equipment integration, camera crews, acoustics, lighting, stage broadcasts and the review of how a team works day to day. You can book one service or several together.

Tell us what you already own, what the programme needs and where it goes wrong today, and we will describe what each service would involve for you.

How it works

From first enquiry to a finished broadcast

Every project follows the same order, whether it is one studio interview set or a festival stage. The steps below show what happens and what you receive at each point, so nothing about scope or cost arrives as a surprise.

  1. Enquiry through the contact page

You write to us with the venue or studio, the type of programme, the rough date and the equipment you already have. We read it, ask follow-up questions by email or phone, and decide whether a site visit is needed before we can scope the work properly.

What you leave withA shared understanding of the brief and a list of open questions.

  2. Survey and planning

Where it helps, we visit the studio, hall or stage to look at rooms, power, cable routes, sightlines and sound. Daniel, Priya and Tom each look at their own area, then the findings are combined into one plan for the production.

What you leave withA written plan covering equipment, crew, lighting and sound.

  3. Written quotation

Costs are set out in writing against the plan, with each service listed separately so you can see what is included and what would change the figure. Nothing starts until you have read the quotation and confirmed it in writing.

What you leave withA written quotation you can accept, query or reduce in scope.

  4. Build, rehearsal and testing

Kit is wired, lit and tested before anyone goes live. Camera crews rehearse shot lists, sound is checked at presenter and guest positions, and the run sheet is walked through with your team so every cue is understood.

What you leave withA tested signal chain and an agreed run sheet.

  5. Delivery, invoice and handover

We run or supervise the broadcast, then hand over settings, notes and any training agreed. An invoice follows, payable by bank transfer, with cancellations and refunds handled under the payment and refund policy.

What you leave withHandover notes, trained staff where agreed, and an invoice.

Before we start

What helps us plan your production properly

A good plan depends on a few facts we cannot guess. Gathering them before the first call saves time on both sides, and none of it needs to be perfect. Rough answers are enough to begin, and we fill the gaps together.

  1. A clear description of the programme

Tell us the format, the number of presenters or guests, how long it runs and whether it is live or recorded. A news bulletin, a panel interview and a concert each ask different things of cameras, lighting and sound.

  2. Details of the room or venue

Rough dimensions, ceiling height, power supply, windows and what the room is normally used for all matter. Photographs and a simple floor sketch are useful, and we will visit if a closer look is needed.

  3. A list of the equipment you own

Cameras, mixers, routers, monitors, intercom and microphones, with make and condition if you know them. We build around what works and say plainly where something should be replaced or left alone.

  4. Dates, people and who decides

Give us the broadcast date, any rehearsal time, who will operate the kit and who signs off changes. Knowing who is in the room on the day lets us write run sheets and training that suit them.
